However, 5 min later it was back, the F/A came by before takeoff, told him to put it up, but as soon as she was gone, it was back again.
Now, not wanting to make a problem I let it go, and he kept it down all the way to our destination for the most part.
On final, the weather was bad, very windy, thunderstorms and rain, so after being told to put it up about 15min out, he continued to put it back and up about 30 times (to look out the window it seems). If it had not been at the end of the flight I may have lost it.
Normally I am not so paitent, and can understand wanting to check outside, but seems to me he-and those like him- feel that the recline is there for them no matter how much it may be uncomfortable for someone behind.
Just my latest experience, and my 2 cents.
Or synchronised reclining ? Husband reclines and in an act of solidarity the Wife does the same within a nano-second.
The confusing recline? Person reclines their seat and then proceeds to sit bolt-upright for the rest of the journey.
