I do understand and I wasn't too serious with my reply post as I don't think the agent could have priced the stay correctly.
What I was thinking though is since it was an Adv. purchase, you are paying upfront. If the agent was able to price the prepayment to include the EEO, then the hotel may not have much room to argue since you have already paid. (The hotel may have some strong feelings for the agent in question though.)
