I'm not really familiar with the Marriott Rewards program. Scanned the T&C looking for an answer and couldn't find it. Thought someone here could help.

My wife's father, who has loads of Rewards points offered to help out the Mrs. and me last year for our tour of some cities in Europe. Namely, he was helping us with our two nights in Moscow where the hotel costs were pretty stiff. I think the reward certificate was issued in August for our stay in mid-Sept. last year.

Needless to say, we thought late Sept. was a rather bad time to leave the country so we put off our trip. We did go to Europe in Feb. but we totally jiggered our trip differently and Moscow and Marriotts were not a part of it.

Here's the question. I don't know if that award has to be redeposited or if it is indefinitely good for two nights in that hotel class. (Perhaps if I could find the certificate that's been squirreled away for almost a year it would say...but that's another story.)

So as we approach that year since award issue, am I going to have to do something by either using it or redepositing?
