We tried the fairly new (roughly 1 yr old) Izakaya Gaku tonight. Great restaurant overall. Absolutely ono sushi (fish was the best; better than Sansei et al) and the staff was great. Place was packed. Make sure to call in for ressies before heading down and call in advance.

(BTW everything was reasonably priced. Maguro was $4.50, cheaper than Sansei, and each dish was $7-$10)
Gaku is tied for my top restaurant on the island. The prices are extremely reasonable and every single person we take there absolutely loves it. The service is amazing and they only take reservations before 7. If you go after that you may have to wait upwards of an hour to eat.
