Face to fave with a non-rev in the jump seat for 12 hours - acceptable?
Hi,

I am writing on behalf of my partner who flew yesterday FRA-BKK. We are both UA 1K members and *A gold and fly LH infrequently.

Yesterday, he asked and was given an emergency exit aisle seat and was appreciative. Right before boarding a non-revenue employee was seated in the jump seat directly opposite, face to face and knee to knee for the entire 12+ hour flight, making for a very uncomfortable trip.

Is this common practice on LH? Does this sound acceptable, or is it even allowed?

I would appreciate any comments on how to address this with LH.
