Unfortunately, the RJ-200s won't be going away. I hear rumblings that ASA will be picking up the RJ-200 flying for ORD/IAD from Mesa. For those of you not in the know, ASA is the company behind Delta's abysmal on-time performance issues as of late. Can it be that a company was actually able to UNDERBID Mesa?

Frightening.
Just to clarify, ASA's bad history was prior to the SkyWest takeover a few years back.

By the way, although ASA numbers for DL are terrible, they are owned by Skywest, which has one of the best reputations in UA's fleet.
I've flown ASA out of ATL for many years to several destinations both before and after SkyWest took control. Suffice to say, things have improved significantly. CR2's still suck, but nothing new there...
