Originally, Amanresorts managed Carcosa Seri Negara, which is owned by the Malaysian government. Aman always had problems getting investment from the owner and I remember frayed table napkins and a very poor state of repair throughout the properties. Aman relinquished its management role and CSN ran for a while by itself, then GHM took over, but the property always needed a major renovation, so maybe this will be it. Hope so.
