Yes, the Camelback is very kid friendly. They have two nice pools. The rooms are in casitas so there are no hallways and the rooms are quite large. You'll have no problem in a room with two double beds. I wouldn't say there's an awful lot for a 1 yr old and a 3 yr old to do in Scottsdale. Be aware the early part of March can have variable weather, ranging from quite warm to cool and raining.
