I'm happy to see the OW awards on partners (wish they would have done this last month).

I know you don't get the 15% online booking discount but are the fuel surcharges as bad on partners as they are on SQ? I currently have BCN-SIN-BNE booked for next Sept but I am really travelling from Morocco (RAK or CMN) but need a cheapie seat to BCN. It would be much nicer to go on LH from CMN-FRA-SIN/BKK-BNE. I know I would have to pay the cancellation fee.

Miles were 80750 plus about $500 in AUD in taxes. plus about $200 for Easyjet or similar.

New routing would be 90000 plus whatever taxes plus fees.

Redeposit miles of completely unused tickets (subject to validity of miles) online 3,000 $30

It could be worth it if the partner's surcharges are cheaper. I would probably pay the cash rather than the miles as it's hard for me to accumulate miles. I got these miles from a botched Amex promo last year.
