I would allow about two hours for this transfer. And I would probably take whichever bus arrived first: the M60 or the Q33.
And if I ended up on the Q33 and the farebox was broken, then instead of getting on the subway at Jackson Heights, I would board a Rockaways-bound Q53 Limited bus for the 30-minute ride to the Rockaway Boulevard subway station, and transfer to the A train there for the two-stop ride to Howard Beach station.
Ok the 2nd part was Over my head. What did you mean by broken fare box on the Q33, whats the difference if its working or not?
I know theres a free transfer from the bus to subway if you use a Metro Card, or pay cash and get a paper transfer slip. Can a person transfer Bus to Bus and then to Subway for $2.25? If not and you need to pay $2.25 x 2, will it be alot faster to do Q33-Q53 to the A Line? then either of the ways I posted in my OP?
