Kuala Lumpur - JW or Renaissance?
Going to KL at the end of August for a wedding. Finally made MR Gold this year and I am trying to choose between the JW Marriott KL or the Renaissance KL. Any recommendations?

I have read the previous topics and have done a little price research for the dates I will be there.

JW Marriott's Cheapest Rate is:
220MYR/day including breakfast

Renaissance's Cheapest Rate is:
460MYR/day including breakfast, airport transfers, and double MR points

If I get the cheapest rate, what are the chances of getting upgraded?

BONUS QUESTION.
Wedding is at the SUNWAY LAGOON RESORT. How do get there from either hotel?

Any assistance is appreciated.
