Walk out of the terminal at street level directly into the multi storey car park (or around it) - the Novotel is on the other side - the only problem being you cannot see the Novotel because the car park is blocking its view. They have a shuttle bus at a clearly marked stand at street level. Unsure if the tunnel is operating.
