This was, once again, NOT seat blocking. Seat blocking was when the seat was actually marked as occupied. No one could choose it at check in, a kisok or at the gate unless it got "unblocked" because there were not enough seats.
All that was done for you was you were moved to an empty row. You can do this whenever you want- but there is NO mark on the row to keep anyone from choosing one of those seats.
