So, I flew ECO+ on the 31st for the first time.

When at the checkin counter at BOS, I asked the CSR to see if there were any two seats open in ECO+ (after making it known I'd be interested in a bump), and if it were possible to put me there. She did for my BOS-IAD, IAD-NRT, and NRT-SIN legs. All international legs I ended up having the entire row to myself.

I checked in the RCC in IAD and NRT to make sure the seats were still empty (would have asked for another assignment if they weren't).

Is this an OK thing to do, or frowned upon?
