I opted to shorten the BKK Riverside Marriott stay by a week and help the soft opening at the Phuket resort. Watched them finish the landscaping and installation of the Spirit House on the Island!
Would say the Buffet and food is somewhat better at the BKK property. Hopefully, Phuket will get up and running with the same Seafood Buffet on the terrace. OH, that Phuket Lobster grilled fresh for you.

Don't overlook Linda's Seafood and Thai restaurant just North of the Phuket property wall. It is on the other side of the wall near the King's Royal Suite. Wonder if the royal family will try Linda's?
