Look up jaded frequent flier and you will see my picture, but yesterday was different. I flew from BOS-ATL on DL 1871 and then on to RDU on DL 1714, both flights were delayed and I was in "just get me home" mode. Then the most amazing thing, I encountered Delta's 2 best flight attendants, one on each flight. It has been a very long time since I've seen such attentiveness, by people who seemed to enjoy taking care of their charges, pre-flight, in flight and then thanking each passenger for flying DL, with a handshake on the second leg.

I always get good-great service on DL, but those two ladies were head and shoulders above the norm/

Now, that is "Best in class."

I hope to be as lucky on my flight to LAX next week, I got upgraded 6 days out on DL 17, so it's already off to a good start.
