last week - on my last trip TPAC --- the NRT SGN leg was a red letter day/trip for me. somehow the FA heard that this would make me a MM passanger and hit the Diamond level and presented me with a bottle of the bubbly. I was the only revenue psgr -- there were 3 non revs and all of them tnkd me for my patronage.

then on my flight home -- the last leg was MSP-ATL -- the FA first came to me during the meal order process and said -- since you are a recent MM you get first choice of the meals ---and when disembarking --- thanked me for my business and told me to get some sleep --- again recognizing my long TPAC trip.

now thats is the extra I just thrive on. Delta FA's are working to reach SQ standards --- and sometime I have seen the Delta FA's exceed that
