Several weeks ago my wife and I stayed in the Courtyard Marriott in Philly next to city hall. This is clearly a well-renovated older hotel. The room was great, as was the staff and the food. Fortunately for us, all the non-smoking king rooms were taken and we got a parlor room with (can you believe) a Murphy bed. Even after housekeeping lowered the bed (while we were at dinner at McCormack & Smicks down the street: great), the room was so spacious that we could have had a complete family reunion.
