OK finished this trip. Connecting to UA 804 from SQ 503(or 504) from BLR was easy. According to the crew the SQ flight is almost always arrives 10-20 mins early and 99% ontime. 1hr 10 mins is more than enough time to connect. I even spent 20 mins in the *G lounge
