Tell me GaryDD, how exactly would you know that it was a glitch and not based on a promotion? You are assuming that people are "greedy" and should have known better. Here is another example and this one is personal to me. Back in April or May DL had a promotiong for I believe 2x miles if you buy a K or higher class ticket. I bought all my tickets k or higher. Some of the double miles posted after some flights and some didn't. In the end DL started posting miles in bulk; 12k here, 18k there, 4K here, and in one instance 30+K. I had no way of knowing what miles where for what flights and at the same time, I was getting additional miles from other promos. Where all the postings correct? Well they are still there so I guess so.

So back to your assumptions. In a post on one of these threads someone stated that they called SMS and tried to get their threshold awards because the 15K put them over the 100K mark and the website didn't work for them. SMS gave them another website to go to and I don't think that one worked either but even SMS didn't know that it was a "glitch" as you called it. So, who made you the expert here? Did you get the miles and did you know it was a glitch? Did you call DL up and say hey you messed up take the miles back?

Hindsight is 20/20 as they say but a lot of folks on this site that probably have a lot more experience than you dealing with DL didn't know that something was wrong until after the fact so to say that someone should have known better is well off base IMHO.
