Congratulations on being selected for the Torch Relay!

I suggest you wander through the UNB campus. Lots of bricks, a bit of ivy, and quite pretty. Plus it's built on a hill so it would be a good warm-up for your run.

One of the main attractions is the Beaverbrook Art Gallery, which has a very impressive collection for a city the size of Fredericton. In the neighbourhood of the gallery you can see the NB Legislature and a few other historical buildings.

Sorry about the lack of night-life advice, but the last time I was in a bar in Freddie Beach was the year I graduated from UNB, 25+ yrs ago. Back then it was the Cosmo, Riverside Arms and the Hilltop Pub.
