I agree the Residence Inn Hughes Center is the closest to to newer hotels on the south end on the strip. But two items are important on this thread. Does "seiko" only want to stay at a Marriott property, which is what this forum is about, and 4/25 is just around the corner, and a few of his nights are gonna be @ a weekend rate. I think this shopping should have been done alot earlier.
