FYI:
The Courtyards in Key West were not built as Courtyards, but rather are conversions. The Couryard I statyed at recently (I think it was 'by the Sea') used to be a Howard Johnson's. It was nice enough, but the sound-proofing wasn't very good. I didn't sleep very well due to the noise from the adjacent room.

Edit (correction):
I stayed at 'Waterfront', not 'by the Sea'.
Also, all 3 hotels are in the same general area of Key West, but not really within walking distance of downtown,Duval St, Mallory Square, etc.
