Thanks for this OP. Alot of helpful info as I just applied through the website and it took about 10 minutes online to complete. I have not looked for the kiosks at SFO but they should be there as of end of Aug 09 per the comments right from the web site. My last entry to SFO was 7/17. Especially coming through IAD this process very helpful as those lines can take anywhere from 30-60 minutes and when I came in from DXB on Oct 17 I only saw 2-3 person use the 2-3 kiosks. At 6:30 AM there are minimum 5-6 flights arriving so now making the closest UA connections will be easier. I will report back how long it takes for my application to be approved.
