Thanks, and maybe that sums up my confusion. How do I find the "link" between the "Delta ticket number" and my Skymiles account?

Since I posted my question, I have realized there is a number on the paper they sent me. The format is 0 006 XXXXXXXXXX 0. (Obviously redacting the 10 digits...)

When I log into Delta.com and select the "Redeem certificates and coupons" option and try to input this number, I get a message saying the number is not valid.

I realize the obvious answer is "call SMS", I'm just so frustrated with the whole experience of dealing with Delta for almost 5 months (and 4 contacts) on this issue that I'm no longer willing to deal with them unless I have to.
