Lord Z: "As for rooms -- the DLX OCN VIEW that you seem to have is indeed the best; besure to ask for a room at the END of the hotel; directly facing the beach. We usually like to get a room on the 2,3, or 4th floor -- allows us to open our windows at night and enjoy the surf -- very soothing way to go to sleep"

Thanks for this reminder. We stayed hear 10 years ago, pre kids, and the evening wave sound is a memeory I was actually in danger of losing.

acysb87: "Too noisy,too busy,lotssssssssss of kids."

With two energetic kids (6 & 10 yrs.), this should be just the ticket.

Ihilani: Altman & acysb87, I would agree about this property, just about top shelf, that is when not dragging kids & inlaws along! As neither (inlaws or kids) have never done Hawaii yet, we will be doing all the tourist things: Waikiki, Pearl Harbor, Hanuma Bay, Punch Bowl Cemetery, Queens Palace, what else, ideas, tips on those mentioned items??? Thanks again!
