I did a search and surprisingly came up with nothing.

When looking at Delta.com seat mapper for the 777-200LR, certain seats are shown in the color blue as 'preferred seating'. I did a search on Delta.com and didnt come up with anything as far as what makes these seats 'preferred'.

The question is, what makes these blue 'preferred seats' different from all the others on the 777-200LR? Seat guru doesnt specifically mention anything. If I was to fathom a guess, it would be because there in the very front of the coach cabin?
