Customer service did that while I was on the phone. The hotel reservations rep. indicated to Marriott cust. svc. that they had told me the policy when the reservation was made.

Given that I had extensive conversation regarding other issues about my upcoming stay, I would have remembered and documented any special cancellation policies during the call. I made the assumption that the day of arrival 6PM cancellation was in effect and now am being dinged. The reservation was using MR certificate.

Just am solicitating if anyone has successfully had a charge reversed when cancelling outside of the window of cancellation. Rewards or reg. reservation.
