On the OneWorld forum there are reams of discussions on which airline you should get to issue your RTW ticket for the lowest YQ charges. Hint: it's never BA.
RTW tickets are not the issue here, nor are legitimately issued tickets requiring the usage of another airline ticket. The issue is the GBP50 fares being sold without the fuel surcharge...what d3vski was promoting. And why do I care, you ask? Well, if you can't figure that one out....If you issue BA segments on OAL ticket stock for the sole purpose of avoiding the fuel surcharge, your ticket and your agency will be flagged. Don't get caught under the hammer when it falls.
