Well, I'm kind of new to marriot to, and was wondering if anyone knew these off the top of their head:

1) In the post above (BERGDAVID), what is an "honoured guest award"?
2) I am planning on making a lot of stays at Courtyard this month - however, it looks like according to the T&Cs, that you don't get status bonus points there (I recently got the credit card and have Silver). Is this true? (I just find it hard to believe after HHONORS where your status is good EVERYWHERE.). AND, if that is true, does Courtyard count for the Double/Double promotion as well as the Free Weekend promotion?
