Yes, a nice reaxing stay

- Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?

Booked a Club Room and got a club room. Staff had no interest in my status and no offer of upgrade was made despite a pre-email being sent. This was my first stay after making platinum and I did anticipate a little bit more acknowledgement than I actually got!

- How are the rooms?

Not huge, but a nice balcony overlooking the Thames. As ever, never enough milk!


- How is the exec. lounge?

A glass walled room in the lobby area. No-one interested in maintaining it. Breakfast was a simple selection and dirty plates etc left out most of the day. Tiniest canapes in the World brought in evening. I have a two year old that would eat more! One bottle of wine left out for 12 people and no staff keeping it topped up. On the second night no canapes at all arrived and every single club lounge member walked out.
They gave the impression club members were freeloaders and had no time for them.

- What was good and what was bad?

Good:

Great location, good pool. Free parking. Quick and free internet (after prompting! otherwise 30p per minute.

Not So Good:

Staff not interested in Priority Club staus. Even when I asked for a late check out, the attitude was almost defiant before 'allowing' it.

- Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?

Stayed on a 2-4-1. Always good value. Yes, I would return if I needed to stay in this area.
