If you're staying for a month at a Marriott property, you might want to try a Residence Inn. Having a refrigerator for soda and cream for your coffee, plus a coffee maker, dishwasher, stove, etc., may lower your food bill and make it seem like you are living in an apartment instead of at a hotel.
In many RIs, if you give the staff a shopping list of what you'd like from the grocery store, they will buy it for you and put the bill on you room tab.
I only have good things to say about Marriott properties -- according to my statement, I have stayed with them 125 nights in the past year.
