It may be helping more than you think. The biggest benefit after separating your personal and business expenses is that any spend on this card will not appear your personal report. This in turn will increase your score as you'll have improved credit utilization numbers. If your monthly spend is big, it can have a significant detrimental effect on your personal report as it may look like you're living beyond your means.

There are downsides of using a business card, the biggest is that any debt racked up on this card does not fall under protection of the FCRA
