The only thing I don't understand is why DL puts GoGo on planes that don't have in-seat power. I have a decently new laptop but if I run the wireless card on it my battery will last about 2.5 hours. Hopefully in-seat power is coming to all planes soon

A lot of laptops only last < 90 minutes on battery.

The other major issue for those in coach is finding enough real estate to open up a laptop & work on it comfortably. I used it once on WN on a flight with a lot of turbulence. It was free; I would never pay a 2nd time for that experience.

I'm skeptical that they will find enough customers to make this work out in the long term. The returns will probably favor airlines w/ F sections & E+ style seating (e.g. UA & JetBlue).

On a 737, for example, I usually won't even open up my laptop unless I'm in the exit-row seat w/ no seat in front of it.
