I like the idea of Rome, Tuscany and Florence. Need to check flights back from Florence as I dont have any idea who flies out of Florence back to the states nor how much that would change the air fare.
Any more suggestions on specifics not to miss would be appreciated. Reading this forum pumps me up because you all make it sound like Italy is so much fun and a great trip.
From what I can tell, it make take 3 trips to Italy just to see Sicily, Sardina, Venice and the Alps.
Fly into Venice and stay 2 nights
Take a train from Venice to Florence and stay 3 nights
Take a train from Florence to Rome and stay 3 nights
Fly out of Rome
