You're preaching to the choir on that one. AA really needs to sit down and evaluate its product and come up with something other than FF program to stay competitive. What they've done has worked for a while, but when all the other US carriers have Live TV/AVOD on the majority of their fleets, AA will be uncompetitive.
Even today, their 763s and 75Ls really need PTVs and AVOD. I was recently on an FRA-ORD flight and several German sitting near me couldn't s believe AA didn't have PTVs in Y on the flight.
But then again, I've remained loyal to AA as EXP status, free upgrades to F, and eVIPs more than make up for their short comings compared to B6/VX.
