I am currently 1k with united. with all the new "enhancements" im thinking about switching to american. I have a couple questions:

I know american offers a challenge to get to gold and plat for anyone that calls, but will they status match me to exp if im already 1k?

Do EXPs almost always get upgrades on domestic flights?

Are there any fare requirements for using the systemwide upgrades for international flights?

Do EXPs get luggage tags?

Anything else I should know before making my decision? Thanks
