There is actually something more to life than a merely looking how I can get more FFP points - I have met some interesting persons in real life from here - I also have found business opportunites from contacts made through FT because of commonality...

I am happy for you that you found business opportunities and interesting persons and perhaps even friends. I have a friend here, too. And whilest I agree with your first sentence and the fact that FT is more than a mileage run strategies database, I still would be very cautious what I write about me in a public forum, with all that profiling going on.
And also I find this thread can survive with an opposing view, there is no need to hush anyone, unless it gets personal or offensive. And I never try to be offensive, disruptive or getting to personal with friendly strangers and fellow board member.
I will heed your advise re this thread
