Based on my previous thread, I was hoping to get the iPhone with Verizon, alas, I think that option is dead.

I've been hearing all the hype about the Droid, and the fact that some are calling it an "iPhone" killer, and this and that.

I don't think it can beat the iPhone, and I've read that (Thank God) they are not trying to sell you that idiotic VCAST with it.

So, I think I will go for it. What's the use of getting an iPhone if you can't use the service anyways?

Anyone else going to get the new Droid when it hits the shelves next week?

I wonder how much it's going to be for service?
