I wish that were the case... Due to the taxi 'authority' monopoly on the airport, every ride (even to the closest destination) will be $20 or higher.

I work in Dearborn, and I believe a taxi ride from the airport to Dearborn is either $30 or $35.

On top of it all, I'm not sure whether the taxi issue at DTW has been resolved (the former cab company got kicked out, and DTW was looking to find a new, grossly overpriced cab company.
