I've had tighter connections in DTW with checked luggage from MSP, and we've all made it no problem. I can verify that it only takes about 10-15 minutes to get across the airport (depending on your gates). DTW is still my favorite hub in the DL/NW domestic network for connections, by far. Too bad I'm often dragged kicking and screaming through ATL .
