Chase PresidentialPlus Gets You PC Membership for $375
Not sure on how you feel about going the CC route but Chase Presidential Plus card will get you a full PC membership for $375 (plus Avis Presidents Club, Hyatt Plat, an extra 25% RDM on CO flights, discounts on CO's topshelf booze (well drinks are of course still free) and a few other perks.)

Also the card itself is supported by Chases private banking office and as someone who's been a strong critic of the bank, I will say I have been surprised by the empowerment and effectiveness of those agents.
