Wow on numerous things!

1. Should I be tracking these things or do you guys just do it from the Program Activity?

2. You all are way luckier than I am! I mostly stay at B&Bs on a good day, or someone's spare room on a bad day!

3. I only stay at "real" hotels when I go to trainings or vacation in the Lower 48. The vacations I usually do through Priceline, so no points. I have stayed at a lot of Marriotts through Priceline (~15-20 days).

4. My company, right now, just reimburses actual expenses which are then charged to the client. We are thinking of switching to per diem for atleast meal cost. Most of the time there isn't a choice of hotel, but when there is (like trainings), my boss doesn't really care.

5. My ex-husband (notice "ex") and I used to get along better when he was in the army and would leave for a month or so every 6 mo or so. That stopped and things were downhill from there!

6. I could never have the job (lots of travel) I have now if I were still married to my ex. It really depends on the person and relationship. My bf and I have been together for 2 years now. I've been traveling about 2 1/2, heavily about 1 year. I can totally trust him and he even does laundry for me on the weekend while I catch up on work! This makes it easier because we then have time for fun!

7. As pointman POINTED out, having young kids and traveling would be very difficult. I don't have kids, but some co-workers do and it's really tough for them and their kids. They are almost always home on the weekends and most heavy travel is only in the summer for them.

Anyway, sorry so long. I'm tired but can't sleep! That's why I'm reading forums I rarely go into!
