FWIW, here are the destinations that will still be served out of LAS:

BOS
CLT
DFW
LAX
PHL
PHX
PIT
DCA
FAT

Philly/Phoenix/DC/Charlotte all make sense (the four new hubs). Boston makes sense in that it'll still be a focus city to an extent, as today's cuts don't really seem to affect Boston much (other than E-190s now being on the Shuttle). The fact that the lone nonstop competition is a JetBlue redeye, and I'd say US Airways still has a niche in this market. LAX makes sense in that it's a high-travelled corridor that's lacking a train and is not a fun drive whatsoever. Dallas...not sure why that's staying since AA is in the market there, and Fresno (which currently is a daily CRJ) just leaves me mind-boggled, especially since United has 4x E-120s on LAS-FAT/day.
