Sounds like something I'll have to try. I grew up on the sort of sludge my grandfather brewed in one of those stovetop double-percolator thingees. You got quite a bit of grind at the bottom of your cup, and very, very strong coffee. That's how I grew up thinking coffee was supposed to taste.
