FTF, Thanks for bumping this up. I was hoping a WP enthusiast would check their own spreadsheet for pre-Oct 1 posting patterns.... actually I am still hoping.

I really won't be angry if the pattern changes from here on. I just don't like the anxiety. The WP folk had no complaints about waiting a day or two for flights to post - the SM people are out of sorts over losing the immediate posting of flights. The 4-dings vs 2-dings discussion is more indicative of human expectations rather than airline procedures. This speaks volumes about human behavior - WE DON'T LIKE CHANGE. So I can't help but wonder if WP people consider this thread a non-issue because they have different expectations from car rental bonuses. I don't know until I get some feedback.
