Good point SimonC! Last year I needed 2 rooms because I have 2 teenagers. La Defense was the only property available on a reward. It is a lovely modern hotel. Being as it is only a few minutes further out on the Metro, it was not terribly inconvenient.
Sure, I would rather have had neighborhood ambience. But, it worked out beautifully and we had a wonderful stay in Paris.
