Had the same issue on a recent MSP-PDX leg on a NW coded, Delta.com booked flight. Called NW elite and they said that nwa.com "had trouble verifying my elite status." They also said a fix was in the works. No probs for the same trip sched for Nov.

Customer Care put me back in the exit row I originally requested.
