Hi All,
I just received an offer in the mail from United where I if I book two qualifying trips they will upgrade me to Premiere Executive through Jan 31, 2011. I need to fly by Dec 14th. I might be looking to do one trip with the wife, and could consider my first mileage run for the second if I can find a good deal from NYC. I'm still new to this so any advice would be appreciated.
As far as status goes, I just completed Premiere and need 18,249 miles/31.5 segments for PE. I have one personal trip scheduled for two legs and 450 miles, and another work trip scheduled for two legs and 1,500 miles.

What exactly is a circle trip? Is it worth doing a mileage run versus just a regular weekend trip given the circumstances of this offer? Am I correct in assuming that I can book through other agencies than united.com as long as it meets the Class Eligibility?
I'd appreciate any advice from the pros.
Cheers and regards,
Jason
