The deposit depends on the property - some require a deposit and some do not - you should have been told at time of booking if there was a deposit or not - I have 7 reward stays booked over the next 12 months and none have deposits required 4 in London, 2 in Paris and 1 in Fort Lauderdale.

So it really depends on the property - but the deposit is not across the board.
